What with the weather finally starting to feel like Spring, and the relaxing of some of the provincial regulations and practices, there is a noticeable uplift in people’s moods. So much so, that we have been receiving questions as to whether we might be considering loosening some of our own current safety protocol restrictions. Unfortunately, the answer is NO. As heartening as it is to see the small changes in our province, we feel it prudent to maintain our current operating procedures for this month. That means, we will continue to limit the number of volunteers on a daily basis, the doors will remain locked, and clients will not be permitted to enter the facility.
We will be closely following the results of the relaxing of certain regulations this month throughout the province, and will re-evaluate our safety protocols and operating procedures at the beginning of June.
Kind regards,
Pamela and the Okotoks Foodbank Team
