The Caring and Sharing Foodbankers Team completed their Coldest Night of the Year walk on Friday, Feb 26. The team was made up of the staff at the Okotoks Foodbank: Donna Large, Bente Yanota, Carl Kennedy, and Pamela McLean. It was a conscious choice to do the walk on a chilly day as a pointed reminder of those on whose behalf we were walking – the hungry, homeless and helpless. As a team, we doubled the target amount we set to raise, thanks to the love and generosity of our sponsors.
